Living Wild represents:

living like a wildflower; undomesticated, colorful, vibrant, and growing.

Being physically and spiritually fit, ready for God’s plans in our life.

252764_2136067645760_2029668_nWildflowers are:

  • Not planted by anyone
  • Colorful, Bright and beautiful
  • Undomesticated
  • Surrounded by other flowers

They need:

  • Roots so they are not easily blown over by harsh winds
  • To dwell in the light, even though they experience darkness
  • Storms to survive
  • To be healthy and strong to grow among invasive weeds

What we can learn from wildflowers

We too:

  • Are put in our family, current circumstances and place in life by God, not by our choosing.
  • Have the choice to live bold, colorful, bright lives.
  • Can live undomesticated from the ways of the world by choosing god’s will.
  • Can live in close community of other believers, sharing our talents while growing in Christ.

We need:

  • Roots deep down into god’s word so that we are not easily blown over or swayed by external circumstances.
  • To dwell in god’s light, rather than our problems and our sin.
  • Challenging situations, storms, to test us and grow our faith.
  • To be healthy physically and spiritually so that we are capable and ready for whatever God plans for us.

Living Wild exists to: Bring out the God-colors in the world. Shine light on his love. Grow roots in his truth. Within that is our goal to grow your relationship with God to be all in, wholehearted and radical for His cause, in all areas of your life. Wherever you are, we’re here to help you bloom where you’re planted. We offer powerful articles on faith and family, moving bible studies, and a range of healthy living information.

20150502_103730.jpgI want to be colorful, vibrant and healthy. I want to feel the warmth of god presence and peace on my life because I choose to turn to him in all that I am. I want to keep growing up toward him and digging my roots deeper into his word and truth. I want to reflect such a beautiful colored life, that when people see me, they see Christ in all his beauty and love. I want to get dirty and down to business in life even when it’s not easy to dig up the weeds that could choke me out. I want to be replenished from a spring of fresh water, Gods word. I want to be in close community with other believers, joining together to create a more beautiful field of wildflowers, all reflecting Jesus light; because while we were still sinners and rejected him, he died for us so that we may live life to the full.

Join me in taking back our health and families, and pursuing Jesus, with all that we have; soaking up the very river of life he gives us to reflect a beautiful image of his glory. I pray that you will take on this challenge with me to work diligently at becoming closer to him and fellow believers, while becoming healthier and stronger, mentally, spiritually, and physically to serve him and become a beautiful image of Christ and his glory.
