Paleo and Autoimmune Paleo Breakfast Ideas


Breakfast can get saddening when bagels, cereal, muffins, oats and bars are off the table and that’s all you’ve ever eaten for breakfast.

When I was on the autoimmune paleo protocol {aip}, I would often eat a protein with a lot of fruit because it was difficult to find things to eat on aip. I do not eat as much fruit now for breakfast but sometimes will have a small piece.

Very simply breakfast can be a recreation of your dinner leftovers. It doesn’t have to be the same thing you ate for dinner but maybe you can re-purpose it, add eggs or other veggies to make it more “breakfast” like.


You can also bake your own paleo “breakfast” foods like muffins, scones, waffles etc. with the right ingredients.

Or maybe you’re on the go and all you can manage is a handful of cashews and some coffee with coconut milk, it happens.

Plan ahead, make extra dinner, or make breakfast in bulk on the weekend like mini Quiche.
