Orchard Trip and Halloween Camping

20161001_134648.jpgThe best part about fall I think is visiting Pumpkin patches and orchards. I love seeing the animals,  feeling the crisp air, cider being made and the smell of freshly baked donuts {even though they’re not so paleo}.

Last weekend my husband and I went to check out a local orchard that we have never been to since we just moved to our home a year ago.

Although they weren’t paleo, I had to try the fresh donuts, and they were to die for. literally they were the best donuts I’ve ever had in my life.

Just look at that yumminess! We bought 6 donuts so we each could have 3.

And of course some cider that we finished that day.

After our orchard trip, we visited my in-laws permanent camper for their Halloween celebration.

Passing out candy. It rained a bit at the camper but didn’t dampen the evening.

I’m so grateful to have been able to spend the time with family and enjoy these places. You never know what tomorrow holds, how long family will be around or your circumstances, but we can rejoice and share love in the time that we do have and spend it with others.

Even these small weekends are a gift from God and I’m so thankful he has chosen us and loved us before we even knew him.

Romans 5:8

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
